Alongside two-person exhibitions and curated group shows, Axel Obiger presents an annual supporting program of performances, lectures, discussions, and artist talks. Collaboration with guest artists and curators is a central aspect of this approach.\r\n<br><br>\r\n\r\nThrough an open dialogue between guest artists and Axel Obiger members, we explore various artistic contexts and working methods, fostering a nuanced discourse between contrasting positions.\r\nIn our group exhibitions and open-ended experiments \u2013 addressing themes such as authorship, consumption, the Anthropocene, and cultural signifiers in body and language \u2013 Axel Obiger investigates the intersections of scientific enquiry and cultural reflection.\r\n\r\n<br><br>\r\nWho is Axel Obiger?\r\n\r\n<br><br>\r\nAxel Obiger is a fictitious gallerist. The project space \u201cAxel Obiger\u201d is an artwork in itself, questioning the role models and mechanisms of the art system.
